Malta puts any solar panel to the test: 300 days of sunshine per year, high dust and salinity from the surrounding seas and strong wind. In such a climate, solar panels with proven durability and resistance to temperature fluctuations are best for optimising production.

In 2019, SunPower reduced its CO2 emissions emitted by 9.0% per megawatt (CO2/MW). How much is that? It's equivalent to the carbon sequestered by roughly 10,590 hectares of forest in a year! The largest solar carport in France is in the city of Corbas, near Lyon. The French renewable energy developer Neoen needed to optimise its use of the limited available space to generate enough energy to offset the requirements of about 80% of the towns population. To do so, they created the largest solar carport in France, but they also helped to fund it with the largest and most rapid solar crowdfunding in the nations history.
